I get up as fast as I fall
I just renege on my membership and withdraw
soon i will grow tired of this void
and i'll get back on that other ship, where all the quaking baits are kept
there's nothing i'll pass by give me more
i get chuffed when in fact i'm at fault
it's hard to be patient when you're wrong
i try to take back what i have caused
but i don't do it with longevity, i just exclude everything that impinges upon total control
you run beside me,
your emptiness prevents you from tasting the salt that the earth proffers up
i can't be the centre that feeds your placenta
i'm not an experiment for you to put your hands in, take what you can
then leave me to fall face first for us both
i give up just as i'm involved
i nod at everything i should deplore
i'll get up as fast as i fall
either i get supped or fast, my allegiances don't last
as soon as i give up the fast then i'm full
constant comfort can never replicate the feeling that comes
when two lovers in the sky
don't know who they're gliding by
i'm not coming back
i'm not going to return
